Expertise

Meteora Photography Workshop and Tour is open to all levels of photographer, from beginner to advanced.

Ollie has lived in, and run numerous photography workshops in Greece, and also travelled the country extensively, and is therefore very pleased to offer this photography tour taking in some of the most photogenic and historical sites of ancient Greece.

Meteora photography workshop will provide transfers to and from Athens airport.

Shoot the famous monasteries by both day and night, also explore hidden paths and the lesser known monasteries.  Then travel to the Pindus Mountains visiting ancient stone bridges of Zagori and the deepest gorge in the world, Vikos to include Milky Way photography.

Autumn is an excellent time to visit mainland Greece, temperatures around the north in the mid to lower-20’s, the weather is generally sunny but can be a little changeable at times, providing drama to the landscape scenery; furthermore, the terrain is becoming bathed within its autumn coat.

The photographic aspect to the workshop will help you take better travel photos, traditional professional landscape photography (not over-edited, or shooting to replace skies, natural photography), and also learn, or advance, your night photography, and shoot the Milky Way.

The trip accommodation comprises of high-end hotels and luxury apartments/villas; as with all Ollie’s workshops, the accommodation is first class.

All Ollie’s workshops operate with small groups, and a maximum of 5 participants to ensure a dedicated level of photographic tuition and guidance.

Breakfast is included within the price, but not daytime and evening meals in order to give you control over your own food budget; excellent, traditional restaurants are visited most nights for authentic group meals/refreshments and beverages.

Prices are based on single person occupancy, and sharing a room with either a double or single beds can be booked with discount (contact Ollie for further information).

To see exactly what is included within the tour price, please see the Includes/Excludes tabs.

Assistance can be provided with onward travel in Greece.
