Photography Workshops ON THE ISLE OF SKYE
Photography workshops on The Isle of Skye that focus on both traditional landscape photography alongside landscape astrophotography.
The workshops have a strong emphasis on night photography, always putting possible Northern Lights photography, and landscape astrophotography first where possible. The workshop will be adjusted daily according to the forecast, meaning no fixed itinerary; some photographers enjoy this and understand this is the best way to get the most out of a location night or day, but those used to having a fixed itinerary may struggle with this method.
About Photography Workshops on the Isle of Skye
Ollie has run astrophotography workshops in Scotland and on the Isle of Skye for a decade, and knows how to draw a balance between weather, landscape, and night photography, meaning no sunrises will be undertaken after a long night out in the field, instead opting to rest early and be on location for dawn when the previous night sky has been unfavourable. Running the workshops in this way maximises the chance of the group getting a clear night, on occasion the group have driven to Torridon to chase the skies. Full landscape astrophotography tuition is delivered as structured workflows, alongside landscape tuition where required.
