The course will help you push your camera gear as far as possible, and show you how to achieve results exactly like the images within Ollie’s galleries; the learning experience is well-structured and provides step-by-step techniques that, on top of good planning (also taught), will guarantee you results every time. The two-day/night tuition also covers a well-structured post-editing session on Lightroom and Photoshop.

Furthermore, the structured format will help you generate the same style of images every time you shoot, thus helping you create a polished, professional standard portfolio as you venture out on future shoots.

Landscape astrophotography tuition will be the main focus of the workshop, along with the Milky Way, unless otherwise agreed.

Moonlight and general nightscape tuition in winter 1-2-1s available (usually in the Scottish Highlands).

We will discuss local landmarks with you and advise what type of results may be achieved at each location, and at the given time of year. The course can also be delivered to any chosen location/area worldwide*, larger pre-formed groups on request*, educational facilities* and camera clubs*.  

Longer duration than advertised tuition sessions can be arranged on request and all required equipment and camera gear needed is discussed on initial booking/enquiry. Tuition tailored to suit and can include advanced techniques, trackers, complex post-production workflows, Astro modified camera work and post-production or complete beginner.

Typical sessions are around 5-7 hours in the field, with 4-5 hours on planning and post-production.
