SANTORINI PHOTOGRAPHY HOLIDAY

The Santorini Photography Holiday will give photographers the opportunity to shoot at sunrise, golden hour, early morning, sunset, blue hour, and night. Meals are on a self-catered basis and the group eats out at traditional taverners and chic restaurants, alongside traditional Greek bakeries and eateries, ensuring participants experience the island’s cuisine.

Full landscape, travel and night photography tuition is delivered throughout the holiday plus plenty of downtime for relaxing and soaking up the sights. Quickfire post-production sessions will take place during some of the afternoon downtime periods. A laptop with Lightroom and Photoshop is recommended but not essential.

The tour includes a stay in a luxury villa with an en suite private bedroom.

A day spent sailing round the caldera on a semi-private (16 people) catamaran with photography, swimming, lunch and drinks, followed by a group evening meal at one of the best harbour restaurants included (evening meal excludes alcohol).

Camera equipment is discussed with the group via group emails prior to the workshop, though a focal length range of 20mm – 120mm is suitable, with 14/18mm – 180/200mm.  A tripod is essential, and a remote timer or camera with a built-in timer for bulb mode is also recommended. 

Ollie has lived in Greece, and spent over three years in the country, including five months running tours on Santorini spring to summer 2017, with tours also operating pre- and post-years, so has excellent knowledge of the island and country.
