The Northern Lights over one of Scotland’s, and the entire United Kingdom’s, most spectacular lighthouses, Neist Point.

The image of the Isle of Skye Aurora at Neist Point was captured on a frigid March night.

Though this view is not the quintessential Neist Point vista as the classic view faces west, this image is taken at the foot of the lighthouse, thus looking north and providing an awe-inspiring location from which to see the Northern Lights under Scotland’s incredibly dark night skies.
