Aurora Borealis Scotland Sango Sands

The Aurora Borealis glows over the sea stacks and rock formations scattered along the sandy beach, as the tide recedes it provides perfect symmetry reflecting the Northern Lights.  

Sango Sands in the remote county of Sutherland on Scotland’s far north west and has golden sand, sand dunes, rocky formations and sheltered outcrops; Sango Bay is one of the most spectacular and varied beaches in the Highlands.

A short distance to the east of the beach is the largest, and famous Smoo Cave, the largest cave in Scotland.
