Orion over Durdle Door, Dorset

One of the most, if not the most popular night photography and stargazing locations in England, and the United Kingdom, night photography at Durdle Door has become very popular. Often I will venture down in the winter nights these days, and usually have the place to myself to undertake a good night photography session.

The landscape astrophotography image I had in mind this time, eager to differ from the typical Durdle Door Milky Way shots so often associated with Durdle Door, was to align the bright Orion Constellation over the famous Dorset landmark situated on the coast in the south of England.
