Durdle Door Milky Way Dorset

Durdle Door, seen here with a backdrop of the Milky Way, is the most iconic landmark in Dorset.

Possibly one of the most photographed landmarks of Dorset, and most famous stone arches in the world.

Durdle Door is a limestone arch standing in the English Channel and is estimated to be around 10,000 years old and was formed when the sea pierced through Portland limestone, creating the arch.
