La Palma Lunar Eclipse Astrophotography

The 2022 Lunar Eclipse, alongside the Antares and the Rho Ophiuchi star cluster and cloud complex, over the Jacob Kuyrten telescope on the dark sky island of La Palma, in the Canary Islands.

A long lens was used to hone in on this section of the sky, a star tracker to bring out the detail in the Rho Ophiuchi and two different back-to-back exposures to bring out the detail on the surface of the moon.

The lunar eclipse is going through its end phase where the sun is once again beginning to light up its surface.
