Lofoten Islands Aurora

Lofoten Islands are situated just beneath the auroral oval, a belt of light that encircles the geomagnetic poles where you get some of the best chances in the world of seeing the Northern Lights.

As they are North of the Arctic Circle, to see the Northern Lights, you need to visit before April and after late August, otherwise it is too light to see them.
