Man O’ War Cove is situated to the east of the iconic Durdle Door cove, and is a small, sheltered cove on the Dorset coast, seen here lit by the Milky Way.
Man O’ War Cove is a small sand and shingle beach, in West Lulworth, on the west coast of Dorset.
The cove, and the Man O’War Head, are named not after the stinging jellyfish, but after the shape of the rocks in the cove, which it was said resembled the powerful canon warships of the 16th to 19th century.
