Triglav Julian Alps

The Julian Alps at Triglav, golden under the setting sun.

Reaching from north-east Italy to Slovenia, the Julian Alps are a mountain range of the Southern Limestone Alps, and rise to a height of 2,864 meters, namely at the highest peak in Slovenia, Mount Triglav.

The Julian Alps offer some of the most impressive mountain scenery in Europe, and part of the Triglav National Park.
