Milky Way Train Cemetery Uyuni

Description

The Milky Way over one of the iconic locomotives in the Train Cemetery at the edge of the old rail town of Uyuni, situated high in the Bolivian Altiplano on the shores of the great salt flats, and the flattest place on Earth, the Salar de Uyuni. The train graveyard in Bolivia is a relic of time and a spectacular, if not haunting location providing a surreal foreground for both general and landscape astrophotography amongst the many old steam trainers that are slowly deteriorating with the passing of time.
