Nacreous Clouds also called Polar Stratospheric, or Mother of Pearl Clouds over South East Iceland.
Only when the sun is just below the horizon do these clouds form in the lower stratosphere over polar regions.
Very often glowing in vivid colours, and with an iridescent appearance, the clouds are illuminated from below.
