Neist Point is a stunning location and dramatic under the night sky, and can be seen here under the Milky Way.

The walk to and from the lighthouse is spectacular, with views across to the Outer Hebrides on a clear day, and a chance to spot Minke whales, dolphins and porpoises.

Built in 1900, first lit in 1909, listed as a Category B building in 1971 and then remotely operated since 1990, Neist Point Lighthouse is located on the most westerly tip of the Isle of Skye, not far from the village of Glendale.
