Description

Rifugio Santa Croce
Santa Croce, Alta Badia, Dolomites.
The Santa Croce (meaning Holy Cross in English) refuge is located in Badia, at the foot of the Sasso di Santa Croce or Sas dla Crusc (Rock of the Cross) mountain, in the Italian Dolomites.
The church was built in 1484 and in 1718 the house was built; the mountain hut, once visited by pilgrims and travellers, has walls completely covered in wood and has stone floors.
