Castle Stalker 4

The sun sets below brooding skies, over Castle Stalker, Scotland.

Situated on a small, tidal islet on Loch Laich, stands the medieval tower house, Castle Stalker (‘Stalker’ comes from the Gaelic ‘Stalcaire’ meaning Hunter or Falconer), a Category A listed building.

Although habitable, nobody actually resides there, and it is privately owned; with prior booking, at certain times of the the year, tours of the interior can be taken.
