Elgol is a small village scattered along the shores of Loch Scavaig, on the Strathaird Peninsula, on the Isle of Skye.

In clear weather, dramatic skies full of stars and the Milky Way, can be seen in this location where there is a vast horizon and very little light pollution.

Along with the night sky interest, including the northern lights, Elgol is also a place from where you can view and access the famous Cuillin mountains.
