Salar de Uyuni

The world’s largest mirror on the Salar de Uyuni, Bolivia.

From December through until February, it is the rainy season, when the rain not only cleans the vast white salt flats, but when the rain stops that is when the most amazing effects can be seen. The water sits in a thin, reflective layer over the impermeable salt flat and becomes so reflective that it is like a giant mirror.
