Sròn na Crèise
‘Sròn’ is the Scottish Gaelic word for ‘nose’ and ‘crèise’ meaning ‘grease’ or ‘fat’, refers to the rich grazing land around the mountain which was used in the past by Glen Coe herdsman to fatten their cattle.
