Description

Venus over Glencoe

Glencoe is probably the most well-known Scottish valley, due to the massacre of members of the MacDonald clan by the Campbells, which took place in 1692. It is well photographed and has been used in films including Skyfall and Harry Potter; and the often photographed Lagangarbh Hut, otherwise known as the Wee White House, is in Glencoe, in  Ballachulish.

Golden eagles can, if you are fortunate enough, be seen here, along with red deer.
