The Land of Fire and Ice.

With some of the most dramatic landscapes with volcanoes and lava fields, geysers and hot springs, this is the ‘Fire’ in Iceland’s nickname of Land of Fire and Ice. The ‘Ice’ is its glacial terrains, with some of the largest glaciers in Europe. The two contrasts are what makes Iceland so unique, and such an amazing place to visit, as depending on what time of year you visit, it can be covered in ice and snow, or lush and green .
