Madeira Milky Way

Madeira’s dead trees, particularly in its ancient Laurisilva forest, are often remnants of natural decay processes or damage from fires and storms. While they may seem lifeless, these fallen or decaying trees play an essential role in the forest ecosystem; the haunting remains provide excellent foreground detail for astrophotography.
