Santa Maddalena

Snow covers the ground and dusts the mountains around the church of Santa Maddalena, in the Italian Dolomites.

Located in the Italian Dolomites, in the Trentino-Alto Adige region of Northern Italy, is the little village of Santa Maddalena.

Santa Maddalena is both the name of the village and of the church, which is situated amongst towering mountains and evergreen fields, and in the summer months the fields are full of colourful wildflowers.
